Insurance Coverage
Many people have access to insurance coverage for kinesiology, psychotherapy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, massage therapy, and custom knee braces through extended health insurance plans.
Auto Accidents
If you are injured in a motor vehicle accident (car, ATV, snowmobile, or scooter) in Ontario then your rehabilitation costs will be fully covered (www.fsco.gov.on.ca/en/auto), even if you are the passenger or a pedestrian.
WSIB (Workplace Safety and Insurance Board)
If you are injured at work your rehabilitation will be covered by WSIB. You do not need to see a doctor before seeing one of our therapists.
- Ensure you have reported accident to your employer
- Ensure your employer has submitted a Form 6 and you have submitted a Form 7 to WSIB
Publicly Funded Physiotherapy
Funding for clients with OHIP coverage is available at our facilities through the Community Physiotherapy Clinic program, however, we are only funded for a limited number of clients per year. This fills up quickly, so please ask us if you qualify when booking your appointment.
You may qualify if you:
- are aged 65 or older, OR;
- are aged 19 or younger, OR;
- have had a surgery, OR:
- ODSP / OW Recipient (with proof of current eligibility)
- have a valid OHIP card

Veterans Affairs
Funding for all of our services is available to veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces through Blue Cross, PCVRS, and VAC. Call and book your appointment and we will take care of the approvals and billing while you
focus on recovery.
Long Term Disability
LTD insurers may provide funding to restore function and facilitate return to work. Our interdisciplinary team can provide physical activation and mental health support in consecutive appointments on the same day. We provide regular progress reports that include current functional abilities.
